Lenten Worship 2009

Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus . . .

During the 2009 season of Lent, our worship theme invited us to stare into the face of Jesus as he made his lonely journey through the dark hours of Holy Week.  Along the way, Jesus experienced the hurtful emotions that can confront all of us in our own journeys of life.  Yet Jesus did more than just experience these hurts; he showed us the way to conquer them.  With our worship banners as our guide, we had the opportunity to turn our eyes upon Jesus, and learn the lessons for life as he walked the way of the cross.

All of the sermons during Lent were presented by Dr. Paul Kirbas and are available from our sermons page.  The banners pictured below enhanced our worship experience each week during Lent 2009.
