Afrizo, the touring choir from Daystar University, a Christian Liberal Arts College in Kenya, Africa, offered a spirited concert of music and dance in the Ministry Center at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 2, 2007, as part of their U.S. tour to to help celebrate the 25-year anniversary of Daystar US, a supporting agency for Daystar, and to raise money for undergraduate scholarships and scholarships for their Christian Ministries Training program. Dr. Paul Kirbas has been a member of the board of Daystar US since 2002.  We also welcomed the Vice Chancellor of Daystar, Dr. Godfrey Gnuru, who provided more information about Daystar and its mission at a dinner at 6:00 p.m. the same evening hosted by First Presbyterian Church.
