On May 9 and 10, 2008, six middle school youth and two adults participated in the Presbytery of Chicago's Youth Mission project AWOL - A Work Of Love.  Friday night was spent at the First Presbyterian Church of LaGrange.  We had dinner with 35 youth and their leaders from five other churches in the Presbytery and then enjoyed playing team-building games, watching the "Bee Movie," and just "hanging-out."

The following morning after breakfast we got on a bus and went to the Shady Oaks Camp for a mass clean-up, getting the camp ready for the campers this summer.  Shady Oaks Cerebral Palsy Camp is a summer camp for people with disabilities located in Homer Glen, IL.  For more information regarding the camp, go to http://www.shadyoakscamp.org.
