Numerous groups
in western DuPage County which
serve the needs of the community
participated in our annual Mission
Fair on Sunday, October 19, 2003,
providing additional information
about their organizations. Our
theme was "Walking in Christ's
Steps," expressing our calling
to be Christ's hands and feet
in the world. We collected close
to 300 pairs of shoes that the
Little Lambs Ministry will deliver
to children in orphanages in the
Ukraine - 183 pairs of those shoes
were collected by our LOGOS kids!! A
Mission Mosaic was prepared with cards
completed by First Pres members listing
the ministries in which they participate.
Mission Sunday helps us all learn how
First Presbyterian Church is walking
in Christ's Steps in mission. Additional
