| Installation
of Paul
J. Kirbas
October 29, 2006
Reverend Dr. Paul J. Kirbas was installed as Pastor/Head
of Staff on Sunday, October 29, 2006. A reception in Stewart
Hall followed the service.
The members of First Presbyterian Church of Wheaton had
voted overwhelmingly to approve the recommendation of our Pastor
Nominating Committee to call Dr. Kirbas as our new Pastor/Head
of Staff Elect at a Congregational Meeting on Sunday,
August 6, 2006, following the preaching of his candidacy
sermon during our worship services at 8:30 a.m. and 10:00 a.m.
that morning. His sermons,
more information about him,
and a letter from Dr. Paul
Kirbas are now online, along with photos from
the worship service and reception held for him and his family
on August 6. He started here on September 10, Homecoming
Sunday. |
