Unlike any year in recent memory, our 2009 Catch the Spirit All-Church Picnic was held two weeks before our return to our three-service schedule and also was held immediately after our 10:00 a.m. service rather than later in the afternoon.  Our summer worship services were at 8:00 and 10:00 a.m. each week, and many of the people attending the later service dropped off their desserts, salads, or sides in the Rotunda before entering the Sanctuary.

The weather was beautiful - about 70 degrees with plenty of sunshine, and the event was wildly successful.  There were lots of games, face painting, and activities for the children, both in the Ministry Center and outside.

Our Deacons provided the main dishes and drinks, and there was plenty of delicious food for the huge crowd to enjoy, along with the fellowship and fun.
