| A busload of First Presbyterian members and friends enjoyed
a leisurely picnic supper seated on the lawn, the fellowship of
others, and the pleasure of listening to the Chicago Symphony
Orchestra making glorious music under the stars at Ravinia on
Sunday, July 10, 2005. The program included Berlioz, Roman Carnival
Overture; Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 1; Brahms, Symphony #4.
Itzhak Perlman conducted the orchestra; and the young pianist
and virtuoso performer, Lang Lang, was be featured.
