Remarkable Woman

Presbyterian Women celebrated Remarkable Women Sunday at the 7:30, 8:40, and 11:00 a.m. worship services on Sunday, April 26, 2009.  Every women of our congregation has a gift to share, and this was a celebration of those gifts. 

Georgia Hamilton directed an All-Church Women's Choir at the 8:40 and 11:00 a.m. services.

Pat Locke
Pat Locke preached at the 7:30 and 8:40 a.m. services.  Her message was "Those God Blessed," which is available in mp3 format or real audio from our sermons page.
Kim Van Oss, Liz Timmer, and Maryanne Kyle
Kim Van Oss (PW Moderator), Liz Timmer (Joy Circle), and Maryanne Kyle (Grace Circle) were the women who did a great job organizing the three worship services on April 26, 2009.

Kim Van Oss stands beside the table display of items PW makes for their Mission Projects - Home and Abroad.  As the poster reads...  Mission is our Middle Name.
Sue Drinan
Sue Drinan was recognized for her diligent work with Abraham's Children (formerly the Olive Branch Chapter) Pilgrims of Ibillin, Mar Elias Educational Institutions, and Mar Elias University.
Diane Slocum
Diane Slocum preached at the 11:00 a.m. service.  Her message, "Hands and Feet," is available in mp3 format or real audio from our sermons page.  Photos of hands were on display during this service.
