Stations of Service
October 29, 2006
Church members and visitors had an opportunity to learn
about many of our church committees, the work done by each of
them, and the many opportunities to become involved at our Stations
of Service program in the Ministry Center on October 29, 2006.
Reveverend Dr. Paul J. Kirbas was installed as Pastor/Head
of Staff on Sunday afternoon, October 29, 2006. A reception
in Stewart Hall followed the service.

Numerous Music Ministry opportunities are available.

| Susan Miller and Ron Hands provide information about the
Audio Visual Ministry Committee and show all the adjustments
possible with the Ministry Center soundboard. |

Members of the Hospitality Committee show the new theme for
welcoming new members - the "Red Carpet" treatment.

| Our 2007 Stewardship Campaign is "Faith in Action." Tad
Mallery, who did much of the work on the "Faith in Action" binders,
was available to answer questions and provide information. |

Stephen Ministry has been an important part of our church
for many years. Henrieta Ribeiro provided information about this
program. |
| Stuart MacDonald, Fred Rosen, and Bob Back provided information
about Mission Outreach, showcasing our
church's scheduled mission trip to Pearlington, Mississippi,
to help with Katrina relief. |

Information about ways members can help our mission partner,
Outreach Community Center, was available. |
|
Karen Parkinson provided information about our Singles Ministry
Group.
|
|
 |
Volunteers will be planting pink tulips on November 4 in
remembrance of those who have died due to breast cancer. Donations
were being collected for the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. |
| Programs for children include LOGOS, Genesis, Westminster
Fellowship, and Vacation Bible School. |
