VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL was held the week of June 21-25, 2004. This year there were two offerings.

Victory Camps Sports-of-Sorts - Our church hosted Victory Camps Sports-of-Sorts for children entering Grades K-5, and about 90 children participated. This camp provides an opportunity for them to learn about a different sport each day - soccer, volleyball, basketball, and track and field - grouped with children their own age. Victory Sports Camps are led by Christian coaches who are experts in their sport and also show a great love for God and the kids. Biblical lessons are shared each day with the goal to change and enrich their lives with the love of God. They have large group learning as well as small group learning with children the same age. The theme is "You Matter," and campers learn how each of them is important to God and to each person on their team.

Lava Lava Island was the theme of our Vacation Bible School for children who were entering 4 year old pre-school through grade 5, with older children welcomed as helpers. The theme this year was Lava Lava Island.

Participants in our VBS program shared some of the songs they learned with the congregation on Sunday, July 27, 2004.
